Greetings, I welcome you. Today I want to talk about monster trucks, what makes them what they are and how they are built.

Who has not been impressed by seeing a competition of these monsters? One wonders what it would feel like to be the pilot of one of these machines.

Introduction, meeting the monsters

A monster truck is a vehicle with an average weight of five tons . Its height is greater than three meters high. The main shows that include this type of vehicle are held in the United States and attract a large number of followers.

History, the origin of the beasts

They originated Around the year 1975 of the drag racesthat showed altered vehicles, the so-called hot rods, Mr. Bob Chandler had the idea of taking a Ford pickup and adding giant tires to it. . 4. Independent steering:Each wheel of the vehicle can be turned separately, this allows tight turns and kites that would be impossible with a conventional steering.

5. Hydraulic suspension:Supported by a tubular frame that surrounds the pilot, there is a suspension system that cushions the impressive impacts that a vehicle receives.

6. Body:Above the tubular frame (which makes it look like an over-powered buggy) is a structure that can present the most original styles (a dog, a dinosaur, a skull). The monster trucks personality is reflected in its bodywork.

7. The driver:The trucks system wouldnt perform at its best if you didnt have an experienced driver to avoid crashes or overturning.
