Welcome, today I will start with a series of tips or practical tips for various matters. Todays tip is about preventive, not corrective, maintenance on your vehicle. Listed a series of practices for the care and improvement of the operating conditions of your vehicle. These simple steps can save you costly repairs and wasted time.

What is the basic care I need to carry out with my vehicle?

NOTE:Remember to read all manuals related to your vehicle.

1. FLUID LEVEL:Check the level of engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, hydraulic fluid and coolant frequently.

2. LISTEN TO YOUR ENGINE:At the first sign of strange sounds from your engine, or any other abnormal behavior, do not hesitate to consult your mechanic. What can initially be fixed with a simple adjustment may require a major repair if left unattended.

3. TIRE PRESSURE:A low or too high level will cause excessive and abnormal wear on your tires, it can also increase fuel consumption.

4. ROTATION, BALANCING AND ALIGNMENT:It is advisable to do it every 15000 kilometers or after a major blow in a hole in the road.

5. CLEANING THE BATTERY AND CABLES:Cleaning the posts and terminals will improve current flow and decrease corrosion.

6. CHECK THE DRIVE BELT:Periodically check it and at the slightest crack or sign of deterioration replace it.

7. OIL CHANGES:Try to change the oil according to the manufacturers specifications, a burnt oil with residues will cause mechanical wear on the engine.
